Publicly identifying as part of the LGBTQ+ community was a challenging yet empowering experience for Deej Amago. However, practicing self love and maintaining confidence is not a linear journey. Sakbibi acknowledges the struggle of feeling empowered in the face of life’s trials - and focuses on the simple need for comfort as a means of mitigating the wear and tear of daily life.
